Michael Porter makes strategic investment in Avicanna Inc.

A personal investment by Altanova’s Founder and Executive Chairman, made in an investor capacity through PG Equity Group I, LLC.
Michael Porter, Founder and Executive Chairman of Altanova Pharma Group AG, has made a strategic investment in Avicanna Inc. (TSX: AVCN; OTCQX: AVCNF; FSE: 0NN) through PG Equity Group I, LLC.
Avicanna describes itself as a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development, manufacturing and commercialisation of plant-derived cannabinoid-based products. Avicanna announced the closing of the strategic non-brokered private placement on 19 August 2026. Completion remains subject to the approval of the Toronto Stock Exchange.
The investment was made by Mr. Porter in a personal and investor capacity. Altanova Pharma Group AG is not a party to the placement and holds no securities of Avicanna Inc.
